Stephen Meek

As managing partner, Stephen is responsible for firm strategy, investment origination, asset valuation, transaction execution, and all other aspects of the business alongside Cameron. Stephen also oversees all financial and accounting functions withing the firm. Stephen and Cameron previously served as Co-Presidents of Galley NM Assets, the firm’s inaugural venture established in 2021.

Prior to founding Galley, Stephen began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in Citigroup’s Energy Group in Houston, advising public and private energy companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He later joined EnCap Investments in Dallas, one of the leading energy private equity firms in the United States, where he spent six years focused primarily on upstream E&P investments, typically in the $300–$500 million equity range. Over the course of his career, Stephen has participated in and evaluated private and public oil and gas transactions totaling more than $20 billion.

Stephen graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University, earning a B.B.A. in Finance with a specialization in Alternative Asset Management from the Cox School of Business and a B.S. in Management Science from the Lyle School of Engineering.
